It took us nearly 3.5 years to save up enough money for a down payment. Then the hunt began to find the right home.
The market was great in 2010 to buy. We found a great home with trees and room for the kids to run and play. It is much smaller than either of our other homes but it is well within our budget.
This time we are not oppressed by a mortgage payment we cannot afford or credit card debt looming. It was not the easy way but in the long run, it will be what is best for our financial future.
